Metal Solar Roof Sheet
Storm Guard
A standing-seam Al-Mg-Mn metal solar roof sheet line engineered for large-scale, practical and typhoon-rated projects where durability and cost efficiency must coexist.
How the System Works
Active Sheets + Matching Metal Sheets
Every Storm Guard roof uses a mix of power-generating active sheets and matching non-generating metal sheets. The same Al-Mg-Mn alloy and fluorocarbon coating ensures a uniform roof surface across the entire installation.
Active Solar Sheet
135W monocrystalline TOPCON metal solar roof sheet with Al-Mg-Mn alloy low-standing-seam base and fluorocarbon coating.
Matching Metal Sheet
Non-generating metal roof sheet with the same Al-Mg-Mn alloy and fluorocarbon coating as the active sheet. Used where PV is not required or not suitable — no visible difference from active sheets.
Same Al-Mg-Mn alloy base and fluorocarbon coating as active sheet
Identical standing-seam profile for uniform roof surface
Used on non-solar areas, hips, valleys and complex roof sections
Supplied as part of the complete factory package
Complete System
Component Library
Every component in the Storm Guard system is factory-produced and supplied together. No sourcing gaps, no compatibility surprises on site.
Core Sheets
Active Solar Tile
135W monocrystalline TOPCON active metal solar roof sheet with Al-Mg-Mn alloy low-standing-seam base.
Matching Metal Tile
Non-generating matching metal roof sheet with the same Al-Mg-Mn alloy and fluorocarbon coating as the active tile.
Trim & Flashing
Ridge Tile
Al-Mg-Mn alloy ridge piece with fluorocarbon paint, ventilation and waterproofing integration.
Gable Panel
Al-Mg-Mn alloy gable panel that prevents side wind/water leaks and provides aesthetic edging.
Eaves Starter & Drip Edge
Al-Mg-Mn alloy eave sub-plate with butyl tape support and integrated drainage channel.
Flashing Board
Al-Mg-Mn alloy flashing board for roof edges and parapet water diversion.
Gutter Board
Al-Mg-Mn alloy gutter board for roof valley waterproofing and drainage.
Accessories & Fasteners
Dedicated Fastener
Series-specific mounting fastener compatible with the Storm Guard system.
Real Projects
Storm Guard in the Field
From large commercial complexes to urban residential retrofits — Storm Guard is deployed across diverse project types where weather resistance and practical installation matter most.
Large-Scale Commercial Complex
A large commercial reference for Storm Guard. The legacy case is useful for showing that Sunlit's offer is not limited to premium villas; the metal system is positioned for larger, more practical roof applications.
Urban Compact Home Retrofit
A compact single-family home retrofit in a high-density Shanghai neighborhood, requiring typhoon-rated solar integration with a custom skylight. The project demonstrates Storm Guard's superior wind-uplift resistance and ability to accommodate complex architectural features.
Urban Low-Slope Extension
An urban home extension with a flat/low-slope roof that was prone to water ponding. The project demonstrates Storm Guard's standing-seam technology as the ultimate flat roof solar solution, eliminating water ponding while generating clean energy.
Installation Evidence
See How It Goes Up
Four installation clips from the factory team — sheet laying, seam locking, ridge and edge finishing, and the completed roof result.
Quality Evidence
Impact Resistance
Tested on Camera
The Storm Guard active sheet is tested to resist 35mm hailstone impact. Watch the actual test footage — not a spec sheet claim.

Project Fit
Is Storm Guard Right for Your Project?
Storm Guard is engineered for specific project types. Understanding where it excels — and where Lumina Slate may be a better fit — helps you specify correctly.
Choose Storm Guard When...
- Large roof area (200m² and above) where cost per watt matters
- Commercial, industrial or multi-unit residential projects
- Low-slope or flat roofs where standing-seam waterproofing is required
- Typhoon or extreme weather zones requiring maximum wind-uplift resistance
- Projects where a modern metal roof look is preferred over glass tiles
- Buyers who want a practical, engineering-first solar roof solution
Consider Lumina Slate When...
- High-end villas or heritage-sensitive roofs where glass tile aesthetics are required
- Projects with strict architectural review or HOA approval processes
- Buyers who prioritize premium appearance over cost efficiency
- Steep-pitch roofs with complex geometry where glass tile layout is preferred
- Projects where the "solar roof tile" look is a key selling point
